Background
I bring a strong background in programme coordination, monitoring, evaluation, learning, and partnership development across education and development initiatives, with experience working alongside government, civil society, donors, and community actors. Over time, my work has focused on strengthening systems, convening diverse stakeholders, and translating evidence into actionable strategies that support foundational learning and equity. I joined Mizizi to apply this broader experience to partnership and ecosystem building, while continuing to grow impact through coordinated engagement and policy influence.
Advice I'd give my 8-year-old self:
""I would tell my 8-year-old self that the fear of getting it wrong, being judged, or failing is often louder than the risk itself. Many of the things you worry might happen will either never happen at all or will turn out to be far less damaging than you imagine. Growth comes from stepping into uncertainty, trying even when you feel unprepared, and learning along the way. So don’t be afraid to take the leap. Trust that you will figure things out as you go, that mistakes will teach you more than staying safe ever could, and that courage is not the absence of fear but the decision to move forward despite it""
